I'm just finishing it. A mix of the macabre, grotesque, fantastical, but none of it is cheesy or predictable. While some are average, others are simply outstanding. He's a very good writer -- you should try some of his stuff :)
ahh, the cover picture of the colored leaf reminds me of the leaf coloring day with the beautiful Chinese nursing students...my leaf was red, too! it was fantastic. there were about a hundred Chinese students on the sidewalk coloring leaves...a bit surreal, really.
